An apprenticeship as a polymechanic (EFZ) or production mechanic (EFZ) at Pavese AG offers you a wide range of opportunities and exciting career prospects in the metalworking industry.

As a trainee polymechanic / production mechanic, you will learn about the interplay between software and mechanics and gain comprehensive knowledge of the manufacturing and machining of workpieces.

All About the Polymechanic

During your apprenticeship, you will work in various areas such as turning, milling, drilling, grinding, and assembly. You will learn how to operate and program modern CNC machines. Close collaboration with experienced professionals who are eager to share their knowledge and experience with you will support your professional development. You will be involved in projects and will be able to apply the skills you have learned directly in practice. Workplace safety is always our top priority, and you will receive thorough training in the safe use of machines and tools.

During the first two years of training, our apprentices participate in various inter-company courses (ÜKs) in addition to their in-house training, which are conducted by the Swissmechanic Central Switzerland Association in Emmenbrücke.

Our innovative and modern training program consistently places our graduates among the top performers in their class.

Motorcycle

Through our specially developed in-house training program, our trainees spend three years crafting every single component of the chopper (length 30 cm; height 12 cm). This unique introduction to various technologies and their varying levels of difficulty provides you with technical training of the highest caliber.

Once you have successfully completed your apprenticeship, numerous opportunities for further training will be available to you.
